02

Recruitment Use

Halden uses candidate information to assess suitability, communicate about opportunities, manage applications, conduct agreed checks and maintain a recruitment record. Providing information does not guarantee work or placement.

03

Sharing and Disclosure

By submitting a résumé or registering for work, a candidate authorises Halden to share their résumé or relevant candidate profile with prospective employers for opportunities within the role, location, work type and preferences they have provided. This authorisation applies for 30 days after the application or registration. After 30 days, Halden will contact the candidate to confirm they are still looking for work or open to another suitable or better-paid opportunity before sharing their information again. Cloud service providers may store or process candidate information outside Australia, including in the United States. Halden takes reasonable steps to assess providers and protect the information. Sensitive payroll identifiers are not collected through public recruitment forms.

04

Retention and Security

Unsuccessful applications and general candidate registrations are ordinarily retained for up to 24 months from the most recent meaningful contact or application. A record may be kept longer where required by law or needed for an active matter, or deleted earlier at the candidate’s request where permitted. Records are then securely deleted or de-identified where appropriate.

05

Access and Correction

You may ask to access or correct personal information held about you by contacting Daniel Norris, Privacy Officer, at [email protected] or 1300 239 203. Halden may need to verify your identity and may decline a request where permitted or required by law.

06

Questions and Complaints

Candidates can contact Daniel Norris, Privacy Officer, at [email protected] or 1300 239 203 with privacy questions, access or correction requests, or concerns about how their information has been handled.
